The ´Art & Patrimoine´ Gallery, established by Laurence Lenne in 1998, specializes in Chinese, Tournai and Sèvres porcelain from the 18th century, Italian Renaissance majolica and 17th and 18th-century Delft earthenware, as well European ceramics from the same period. Laurence Lenne has published catalogues related to antique ceramic collections, as well as articles devoted to the detection of counterfeited 18th-century painting on porcelain. In addition, Laurence Lenne specializes in works of art from the Middle Ages to the Age of the Enlightenment. The early ceramics, as well as these works of art of various origins, are reflections of the social, political and economic history of past centuries. These reflections of societal change derived their value, from the moment they were conceived, not only as functional objects, but also as artistic witnesses of their time.
